Terms of Service
Effective: July 9, 2026 · Kinetic Studio Inc.
These terms govern your use of Tempo, an invite-only work-productivity service operated by Kinetic Studio Inc., doing business as Kinetic Apps (“Kinetic Apps”). By accessing Tempo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not connect an account or use the service.
1. Eligibility and your account
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and authorized to connect every account, workspace, calendar, page, meeting source, and external agent you add to Tempo. You are responsible for the security of your sign-in methods, devices, source credentials, and agent-access tokens, and for activity performed through them.
Tempo currently provides a single-user workspace. Do not share a Tempo account or connect another person’s source account unless you have clear authorization to do so.
2. What Tempo does
Tempo connects work streams you choose, stores and processes their content, and uses software and AI models to create a prioritized queue, drafts, summaries, search results, briefings, and related assistance. AI-generated and derived results can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing them before relying on or acting on them.
3. Actions and approval gates
- Tempo may send a daily briefing to you from your connected Gmail account only after you enable scheduled briefings and choose a time. You can disable that schedule.
- Sending a reply or draft, archiving Gmail, and submitting a Google Calendar RSVP require an affirmative action or approval from you in Tempo.
- An external agent you authorize through Tempo’s agent-access or MCP interface can read your Tempo world, work explicit handoffs, and make suggestions for review. That interface cannot send, archive, edit source data, or delete your Tempo data.
You are responsible for checking recipients, content, attachments, timing, and consequences before approving an action. Provider delivery and source changes are controlled by the relevant third-party service and are not guaranteed by Tempo.
4. Your content and permission to operate the service
As between you and Kinetic Apps, you retain your rights in content you provide or connect. You grant Kinetic Apps a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, transmit, transform, index, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the user-facing Tempo service for you and to comply with law.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content and accounts you connect. Connecting a workplace source may be subject to your employer’s policies and the source provider’s terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Tempo to:
- violate law or another person’s rights;
- access, monitor, or disclose an account or content without authorization;
- send spam, malware, deceptive content, or other abusive communications;
- probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with security, access controls, rate limits, or service integrity, except through a good-faith security report;
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law does not permit that restriction; or
- resell or provide the service to third parties without written permission from Kinetic Apps.
6. Third-party services and external agents
Tempo depends on services such as Google, Slack, Notion, Granola, Vercel, Convex, OpenRouter and its configured downstream inference providers, Voyage AI, Expo and Apple push services, GitHub, and Twilio. Your use of those services remains subject to their terms. They can change, suspend, or revoke access independently, which may limit Tempo functionality.
If you authorize an external agent, client, or automation, you direct Tempo to make the permitted data available to it. You are responsible for choosing that third party, understanding its terms, securing its credentials, and revoking access when it is no longer needed.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Tempo collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information, including Google user data. It is incorporated into these terms by reference.
8. Apple App Store terms
If you obtained Tempo through Apple's App Store, your licensed use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms govern your Tempo account and use of the Tempo service. If these Terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA for the licensed iOS app, the Standard EULA controls to the extent of that conflict.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Tempo or for addressing claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it after you accept these Terms.
9. Service changes, suspension, and termination
Tempo is currently invite-only and may change substantially. We may add, remove, limit, or discontinue features, and may suspend access when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, source-provider requirements, or a violation of these terms. When practical, we will provide notice of a material adverse change.
You may stop using Tempo, disconnect sources, reset Tempo data, or delete your account from Account → Data controls at any time. The distinctions among those controls are described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tempo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted operation. Tempo is not a system of record and does not provide legal, financial, medical, employment, or other professional advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kinetic Apps and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from Tempo. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in a court with jurisdiction in the State of Delaware, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Tempo changes. We will update the effective date above and provide additional notice in the service when a change is material. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
